Hello. I’ve added an edit to my other thread about Pablo’s situation with new evidence, documenting the entire incident of when the Dubbing Wiki was edited just minutes before the episode aired. Could this also be considered a breach of confidentiality? We don’t know. The Dubbing Wiki had the information about the actor change for Jax 10 minutes before the episode 8 went live.

Fans across Latin America are furious after the Spanish voice of JAX in The Amazing Digital Circus was suddenly replaced in the official Latin Spanish dub.

Pablo Gandolfo (born February 16, 1977) is a bilingual Argentine actor, English teacher, and dubbing instructor, known for being the voice of Linda Belcher in Bob's Burgers, Tobe in the animated series Pucca, Chuckles the pig in Dave, the Barbarian, Rippen in Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, Flash Thompson / Agent Venom in Marvel animated projects, Mark Zuckerberg in The Social Network (Spanish Dub), Calvin Candie in Django Unchained, Crimson (Helluva Boss) among others.

The Controversy

The situation began on March 20, 2026, when episode 8 premiered. Pablo Gandolfo, widely known for supporting fans and collaborating with projects in the community (much like Michael Kovach, Lizzie Freeman, Alex Rochon, and other original-language actors from the main cast of TADC), had shared a sneak peek of a fan project alongside a Chilean fan and collaborator "Susu".

However, some sensationalist U.S. media outlets and TikTok/YT accounts misrepresented this fanmade content as an official leak OF EPISODE 8, despite it containing no spoilers whatsoever, just JAX running in a dark backgorund and breathing, similar to a teaser Michael Kovach had shared for JAX Toy! Reprise!

To respect The Amazing Digital Circus, Pablo canceled his fan project after seeing that some were taking the content out of context. He DELETED the post, and several pages CORRECTED their reporting. The show’s promotion continued normally, with Likan Studios and Glitch sharing memes, and Pablo even teased content related to the episode release, which suggested he had recorded his lines.

The Episode 8 Premiere

Latin American Fans initially watched the original English version and were excited (because they love the original actors too). But when the Latin Spanish dub aired, JAX’s voice had been replaced by a completely different actor, Pablo Gandolfo was nowhere to be heard. All other actors: Noelia Lestani (Pomni), Rodo Balderas (Caine), Denisse Leguizamo (Gangle), Valca Ponzanelli (Ragatha), etc. remained unchanged.

Pablo later posted on his social media:

“Surprised as well! I was removed from the project because of two videos I posted that were deemed inappropriate. I am not sick, I did not resign, and money was never an issue. I had no intention of causing harm.”

According to fans, Pablo had no prior warning about this change, it happened suddenly. (This is VERY disrespectful).

There is even EVIDENCE that the official dubbing wiki was edited just five minutes before the episode aired. We are currently working on providing those screenshots, as we are gathering all the evidence of what happened and will continue bringing more information to light 😉💢

Fan Response

Fans across South America were outraged. Pablo has a long-standing reputation for professionalism, respecting NDAs, and supporting the community. Many believe the decision was entirely Likan Studios’, not Glitch, as Glitch reportedly was delighted with Pablo’s work.

Some speculate tensions between Likan Studios director Joaquin Augusto and Pablo may have influenced the decision taken. (We repeat: this is just a speculation).

There are many pretty nasty rumors, and people keep making assumptions, but Likan Studios has not given their official version. People expect things to get WORSE in the coming days if they don’t speak up, as the community on 4Chan and Reddit has already been called to join in.

Fans Calling the 4CHAN and REDDIT community

Likan has been ignoring fans for two weeks (the director and several studio members see the posts but have decided to stay silent).

If they don’t release a statement, things could go from bad to worse in terms of public relations. Everything suggests it may be related to the possible theatrical release of Episode 9 and the new voice replacement (this is still developing information).
