This is going to sound really stupid.

This is going to sound really stupid.

I miss the ramrod and the tissue my guy.

I'm from the UK. I do not have the fun of disassembling and cleaning my own intricate weapons. Nothing made me more happy in ITR1 than finding dirty mags and weapons, selling all the stuff I didnt need and then cleaning the crap out of everything.

I liked the stages, it was methodical and it was actually quite relaxing. Knowing that the care you're taking rewards with much higher appraisal for items. Yes I know spray and brush still exists but I dont know I just really liked the full process. Every weapon I found I cleaned. Every weapon that was possible to drop I found and farmed and cleaned and put on display and I was like "Oh I remember bringing that home" and it was one of my favourite bits of the first game.

Lack of ramrod also means lack of tissue which means I can't display my stuff in the same way I did the first game. For those interested, here was my final base layout. Every ammo box I found I transferred, emptied and stacked. Stacks and stacks of empty boxes, full boxes. Goddamn I love the first game.

Oh and please make clips cleanable again. I would also love to see that when you pick up an item from a shelf, it doesnt have full collision to everything else. Trying to make shelves look organized and one misgrab and the entire shelf is on the floor 😞

Dont even get me started on the rig system. I was deep in that for like 15 minutes just taking it on and off and testing where my hands automatically went for things. The freedom of that system is a beautiful thing.

Performance issues with ITR2 with a 5090/top end PC

Hi all,

Excited to finally play now that it's out of early access but booted it up via wired connection in steam using link cable (Quest 3) and the framerate is really bad either in low settings and high, I cant tell a difference.

I played the first one on the Quest version with Quest Games Optimizer and it was buttery smooth and it became one of my favourite experiences in gaming.

For Radius 2, I've completed the intro and boot camp but moving sideways even on low present I'm getting constant ghosting on pretty much everything. Any advice? What am I doing wrong?

If not I can try and refund it (34 minutes play time) and try the quest version with games optimizer to see if that's any better.

SOLVED: Activated the Oculus Runtime in the desktop app via settings, final option at the bottom. This was not on, it is now on.

I also changed the port of my link cable at the back of the PC. For some reason one of them gives amazing performance and the rest just suck. If you have a similar problem, hopefully this can help you.

Advice please

Hi all,

I purchase an item. I call the company and get a refund for the item back to my PayPal account but it was not paid for initially with PayPal but instead via my card on Amazon. It is an item not covered by Amazons usual return policy.

They have refunded me in Paypal directly but it simply comes through as "payment received" and seller protection is marked as "eligible".

Is it possible for them to issue a chargeback despite this being a refund?
