Early July Wedding in Tuscany - is it too hot?

We were considering a 1st july 2028 wedding in tuscany but am worried about heat?

Is it better to avoid early July in general? Our other option would be 1st September - but would assume this is the same?

Any timing tips for wedding ceremonies during these times would be super helpful!

Wedding Music - costs and guidance

We are wondering how to make the wedding flow, which music elements did you have during each moment:

Ceremony

Aperitif

Dinner

Party

Additional: Pool Party

If you could share total music costs from your experiences and breakdown that would be great!

Anything you would skip/splurge?

Pro: If Italian wedding - specifically tuscany that would be even more helpful, but looking for general suggestions to make the day flow and keep people entertained!

Venues nr Florence / Pisa c. 45mins/1hr driving - 120 ceremony guests + pool on site

Recently engaged and totally lost at where to start! We are looking for a venue not too far from a popular area, so guests can also explore as they wish - we would love to host a day 2 pool party and therefore think we will require a buyout - which is ok but not looking for a crazy expensive venue.

How much can we expect to budget for 120 guests in this area?

Any tips for this region / wedding planning would be very helpful!!

Side note - better to go for a company that does both photo & video, or two separate? Should we photograph day 2 too? If so, do we pay for photographer to stay on site?

Tuscany Wedding 2028 - Inital Help Requested Please!! Wedding Planners/ Initial Budgeting

Hi everyone, My fiancé I are planning our wedding for 2028 in Tuscany (or the surrounding areas), and we’re hoping to get some advice on budgeting. We’ve been speaking to a few planners, and most of them are suggesting that we’ll need a budget of more than £150K to host a wedding for 100-120 guests, even though we won’t be covering accommodation for guests—we plan to offset those costs. Additionally, we’re hosting a second-day pool party, which we’re not including in the wedding budget. To be clear, this is above what we would like to spend.

Just to clarify, our budget will not cover any of the following:

  • Anything related to the bride (dress, makeup, hair)
  • Anything related to the groom
  • Travel expenses for guests

We’re wondering if this budget recommendation makes sense for a wedding in Tuscany or the surrounding areas. Does anyone have experience with weddings in this region and how much they ended up spending for a similar-sized event?

Also, what should we expect to pay for a professional photographer and videographer in Italy? We’re looking for high-quality but not celebrity-level service. If you have any planner recommendations or tips, we’d be very grateful!

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

Thanks in advance!
