Update on Pedunc Watch - we have formation! H. mathilde and she’s fully loaded up now. She really does want to climb tho (I think) even tho i was hoping to grow her trailing. I /want/ to get her into a new pot to climb & trellis (not sure what yet, most don’t strike my fancy, maybe a macrame hanger and spiral the vines around it?) but i /think/ i should wait til she’s done flowering so as not to disturb? thoughts? any fave climbing upgrades you want to share?

There are several more peduncles on my Mathilde and i’m just so damn chuffed. Hoyas have been like my holy grail, and even tho i bought this one only a few months ago im taking this as a sign that she’s happy and i’m an ok plant mama (for now haha). And yes she needs to be rehomed to a more permanent climbing situation but now that she’s blooming i think i need to hold off for a bit? i don’t want to disturb the precious!
