What are my options for running a traditional 1 1/8 stem on a canyon road bike?
With the new release of the Endurace it’s what I’ve wanted in a new bike. Large tire clearance, aero features and maintaining an aggressive geometry.
Problem is I know canyon is all in on their integrated cockpits.
I’ve grown to really like my current setup with a traditional 1 1/8 round stem and alloy pursuit bars (I really like the 100mm reach).
I’m not exactly familiar with the headsets canyon comes with. It looks like every stock photo of an Aeroad or Ultimate had the integrated bar.
Does Canyon supply dustcaps or spacer adapters to accommodate traditional round stems? I also realize the cables will be routed externally under the stem and I’m fine with that. (I’d actually prefer it because I do my own maintenance and sometimes swap out bars depending on racing)
