My boy's not eating :(
Hello, I want to first thank everyone who offers advice in advance. I got my boy Sammy almost exactly a year ago (1 year on the 15th) and I was so happy because he was a fantastic eater even though I had heard boys were especially picky. I had originally wanted a lady for that reason, but I fell in love with him and wouldn't trade him for the world. But back to the actual problem. Sammy ate through the winter and everything was going great, until 7-8 weeks ago he started to refuse meals. I mostly tong feed him, unless he doesn't immediately take it and then I drop feed him. I've tried countless things to get him to eat; putting him in his log and then putting the food at the entrance so he has to slither over it, putting him in a separate container, scenting with tuna. I understand that the cold weather can make the hogs go on strike, but it's been warming up where I live and I thought that this is wake up time for them.
As for my husbandry, his basking spot is about 92°F, his warm side is about 84°F, and his cool side is about 74°F. His tank is clean, and his water is always filled and fresh. He has lots of silk leaf clutter and 4 hides scattered through his 20 gallon enclosure. He weighed 48g just before the last meal he ate, and he weighed 47g today. He's not lethargic, and he actually likes my music so he comes and watches/listens when I clean my room. His humidity looks good too. I'm just not sure what's wrong.
Oh, and here's pictures of Sammy and his tank.
