Redesigned weapon and firing system, advance

Hi everyone, I've finished designing and fully programming the first weapon, 'the pistol'. I tried to make it as coherent as possible so it feels weighty and believable. It has a movable magnetic sight, and I wanted it to have two firing modes.

The first is the standard, standard fire. The second activates a small smelting furnace in the gun's barrel, condensing the bullets into a single, much more powerful, larger shot capable of penetrating enemies.

Each mode has its advantages: the primary mode has a higher rate of fire and, when aiming, deploys a laser sight to improve accuracy. The secondary mode, on the other hand, fires more slowly and is considerably less convenient if you want to use the sight.

I think I spent more time than I'd like to admit drawing the weapon sprites. In conclusion, I want the game's weapon system to have between two and four different modes of use per weapon to provide versatility. What do you think? I really appreciate your support. Thanks!

Hi! :D I've started working on the character's HUD to show different states of the character in real time. I'll gradually implement multiple variations with more state expressions. It's also cool to see the character you control as if it were a Doom face.
