Hello 997 fans,

I was hoping to find out where (in the UK) would be a good place to start to find someone that might be interested in a 997.1 C2S with engine failure. My best (uneducated guess) is a snapped timing chain as the cylinders were very recently scoped and clear and the car was running perfectly fine. Until it wasn't.

I don't have an enormous emotional attachment to the car so I'm looking at this from a financial perspective. Paying for a rebuild and keeping the car vs cutting my losses and moving on is making more sense right now. I am assuming my loss for selling as a non-runner is less than a rebuild.

Some images from the past two years, just because...
