Ive painted helmets before but this time im really getting in depth. I started with sanding the 3d print lines down, then applied 4 layers of automotive primer; sanding each layer with 120, 220, 320, 400, and 600 grit sandpaper in-between. I finally wet sanded it today before cleaning it with soap and water and letting it air dry. Applied the first layer of paint after about an hour of drying, and now for my question;
Should I dry sand each layer of paint(im doing about 3-4 of black before adding white details) same as the primer? Or should I wet sand each layer? OR should I only wet sand the final layer?
