Nerite flipped over on vacation - could it be alive?
I left for Easter to visit family from Friday - Monday (today). my snails were fine on Friday, but when I got home this afternoon one little guy was upside down on the bottom of the tank :( I think he got stuck that way. he doesn't look good at all to me, but everything says they smell awful when dead and neither me nor my partner can smell anything from him. I would say I have a very good sense of smell. is there any way he's alive? I don't wanna stress my other snails with an ammonia spike if he is 100% dead, but I really want to give him a chance... pic attached before I flipped him back over
