Everyone Who’s Happy About the Coming Exits
Going to warn everyone now I kinda ranted a bit.
Look I don’t like Owen or Teddy (or their relationship I think it’s weird) but I do think Owen has improved while Teddy should have stayed in Germany she sucks now but… let’s be real Kevin McKidd is one of the show’s best actors and directors. Do people really think he’s going to come back on a regular basis? That’s totally unrealistic! He’s already starting to move on! There’s a Highlander reboot happening and he’s in that, he stating his own production company dude’s already busy! Also sounds like he wants to move back at least part time to Scotland. I don’t see him moving there full time since he has 2 young kids plus 2 older who are living in LA (he also has some really cute and funny things with his oldest daughter Iona). Could he come back to direct an episode or two before the show ends? Yea but no way in hell it’ll be able to do as regularly as he has been. Looking at his IMDB page he’s been directing 3-4 episodes a season he won’t be able to. Also pretty sure it’s cheaper for the show to hire directors who are on the show/work for the same network than it is to hire someone who doesn’t have a contract. Chances are Debby Allen, Chanra Wilson and Kevin McKidd all have directing as part of their contracts. No Owen=No Kevin. You hate Owen but like I said Kevin’s directing is going to be missed. Not everyone knows it yet.
