Basic empathy???

Recently lost a pet. Never wanted human kids, so my pets are where all of my love and nurturing go. Found her passed away in the morning before going to work; knew I wouldn’t be able to get the day off but figured my boss would let me leave early so I could get my loved one cremated.

Nope! Because he doesn’t know if it’s something small, like a goldfish or a rodent. Well guess what? It is a rodent! Even if someone is really emotionally attached to their goldfish, who the fuck are we to say it’s not worth mourning?

All I’ve learned from this is to not be honest about why I call in. Be as vague as possible and handle my shit, because it’s not his business or place to make that judgement.

That’s it. It just came in yesterday and I’ll have time tomorrow to play some Gray Zone. I haven’t been this excited about a game in ages. I played and loved Arc Raiders but struggled with the PvP (skill issue I know I know). Saw this game recommended in the Arc sub and the rest is history.

This is my birthday gift to me, and I’m celebrating big milestones at the same time. I splurged a little this year and have left my console behind.

What’s your favorite part about the game?
