So I added a collection to my game. Can I install other mods apart from those in the Collection or I'm better off not doing that?

1 or 2 months ago I've seen a video of someone playing Skyrim using something really similar to Vergil's summoned swords from Devil May Cry. Only difference is that they were red and weren't exactly something the character was shooting at the enemies. Searching for Summoned Swords leads me to a lot of bound weapon mods. Any leads on this?
