New Eero support. Slow wired speeds.
Morning all,
Just looking for some support if possible. I received my Eero Pro 7 kit yesterday and I'm seeing something strange with the DL speeds with a wired connection. I'm currently with Zen (UK) and pay for 1gig down. For context, I'm wired direct from the ONT port to the gateway Eero.
On WiFi, in the room I'm hitting about 800Mbps. Perfect! However, I have my PS5 wired and I'm only hitting 93Mbps (through the 5 port switch). The problem is, I use a 5 port switch that provides connection to my office (also has a wired eero), which is also only getting 90ish Mbps.
I tried connecting the PS5 directly from the Eero wired and same result 90Mbps. I'm using cat 6 ethernet cables and getting the same result.
Any suggestions? I've added a few photos to support.
**Edit - I've just been looking through the connections from gateway and port 2 is showing as Speed -100Mbps. Does this suggest it's the ethernet?
