I used a heavy duty sponge to clean the inside of my Rambler bottle and it tastes like metal now and there's a bunch of scratches on the inside, did I ruin it?

I cleaned my old water bottle and I noticed this weird metallic taste at first and thought it just needed a rinse or something but the taste is overwhelmingly strong, did I ruin the bottle? There's scratches on the inside. It also smells heavily of metal as well. Any way to fix this?

What is the ideal TDS for drinking water?

My tap water comes out at around 215 TDS, I just purchased a brita and that brings it down to about 150 TDS. The taste is slightly better, less of a chlorine taste but it still isn't fully "pure" like bottled water is for me. But I think after I cool it down in the fridge it might taste better.

What is your guys preferred TDS range? I'm also avoiding zero water honestly. Have seen bad reviews recently and also the filters cost more than the pitcher itself lol

Just an FYI, you still have to heal Mei, the iceberg ability is not a complete replacement for all healing that an active DPS will require

I always experience this, the healers will be straight up ignoring me the entire game, then ask me why I'm going negative and I say I have no heals they say "You're mei" like I'm supposed to entirely sustain myself with the iceberg.

Like yeah maybe if I sat at the back of the map sniping with icicle and hiding every 13 seconds to get my iceberg back. But Mei is a brawl hero and to actually get value you need front line support. So many times I will have the enemy at 1 hp but nobody else capitalized on my wall then they get away.

TLDR if you have a Mei on your team you need to play with her. She is not a solo flank hero

Fucking 2 months later I'm finally able to direct transfer my funds from US bank focus card to my checkings account

US Bank has to be the shittiest bank I've ever had the displeasure of going through, genuinely have never had this much trouble with the simplest transactions in my life. Don't even get me started on the shit just locking you out for 24 hours if you make even one mistake entering card info. Jesus

I just got a really good deal $30 off on $75+ which essentially just cut my grocery cost in half compared to if I went in and shopped myself. This just made safeway cheaper than walmart even. What are the chances I actually get everything I ordered? I didn't order much only like 10-12 things

This is my first time ever coming close to masters (diamond one) and I've been matching against a lot of masters players, and man, they are good at the game. Like it's such a clear different level of game mechanics that you enter it's kind of scary. It's not even close to low diamond/plat.

You will die SO FAST. Like just get melted regularly at every chance you give the enemy to do so. You can't make mistakes. If you waste an ability or make one positional error, you will most likely die within 10 seconds.

And I main Mei so I feel like I'm at a disadvantage against a lot of hitscan DPS heroes like cass, or sojourn, or even tracer. Shit even genjis too are extremely dangerous in masters.

Like my previously used tactics to juke or outsmart my enemies don't work as well either, everyone is smarter and has experience/game sense.

And then it's like even if you play more conservatively, the enemy will just play aggressively and kill your team then kill you. Like you have no choice but to face them head on and beat them mechanically.

All the ranks before felt like I just had to out maneuver or outsmart my enemies, but now it's like yeah I actually just have to out aim them. A cass can kill me in three shots in less than 1.5 seconds. If I don't hit an icicle headshot immediately in that situation, or have all my abilities to escape, I die. The main error is even getting that close to cassidy in the first place, which goes back to my point of making one mistake means death.

Idk why I'm posting this it's just crazy how many levels to overwatch there is. I can't even imagine what GM is like

Like I'm not even sure what is happening. I was on a good win streak and was excited to go for masters.

No. Not happening. Literally almost every game has had someone throwing, or just outright leaving. And these are like masters players too you'd think they would care about rank.

My final straw was after 2 leavers in a row, I start another game and my tank who is playing ball proceeds to roll over to the enemy spawn and start emoting. Immediately. No raging no interactions just pure throwing.

What is happening? Are the overwatch gods trying to prevent me from reaching masters? What is this?

It seems like there's no point in dealing with pitcher filter types of filters. Every brand has issues, and the only solution is RO. At least with bottled water I can get RO water from the manufacturer instead of dealing with crappy brita filters that barely do anything

I keep having this issue where I get super high at night, and I fall asleep randomly the instant I touch my bed with no recollection of how I fell asleep. Then I wake up at like 3am with my window wide open and my phone on 1% and then I can't sleep properly for the rest of the night. I think I need to take a break or something

It was never Facepunch. It was you guys. Everyone wants to be a rust streamer now. Everyone wants to be the next winnie, the next kickz. The enshittification of rust wasn't due to BP frags, or the jungle update or even the deep sea. It's everyone and their mother trying to make it big and turning rust wipes into a global theater. You go on Rustoria US main now and you have at LEAST 10+ aspiring rust streamers trying to dominate entire portions of the map. *cough cough mr moody cough cough*

I mean really think about it, when you're running around on a main server your competition isn't just regular people playing a game, it's people who literally depend on this for a living. It creates this parallel to in game resources and real life resources, which is crazy. It's crazy to think that by occupying a space in game you could be in the way of a streamer making their rent money that month. By stealing metal or sulfur nodes from the same area that your favorite rust streamer is in, you are essentially stealing actual real life resources from them. Every metal frag and ounce of sulfur they miss is that much less content they get to post, a missed opportunity.

People take this game super seriously. Some people make it their entire lives. This goes against the very nature of the game itself. Rust is an unserious game at it's core. The underlying mechanism of what makes rust, rust, is the interactions you have, the journey, not the outcome. The outcome actually tends to be the most boring part of the game.

In diamond if I'm half health in a team fight, within line of sight of my healers I will get healed within three seconds. In plat I will sit at half health for 10+ seconds while in front of my healers. Or they will be pushed too far up and I'm right behind them spamming for heals and they don't turn around.

Like it's noticeably worse. I went on a loss streak because of my computer glitching out with drivers and freezing my PC. I've mostly settled everything I think and I'm ranking up again, but man it's insane. I don't care what anyone says, the game gets harder in lower ranks because of stuff like this.

I've been having this issue for a couple weeks now. It was on and off at first but now it's just constantly. I can't finish a game without my entire PC freezing, which I then have to hold down the power button to manually restart it to fix it.

I'm running an i7 8700 with a 6700xt and 16gb ram 2666mhz. Anyone else having similar issues? I feel like it has something to do with AMD drivers

No I don't want an RO system. I was looking at either zero water or brita, but I'm seeing people saying zero water filters get sour after a few weeks and brita doesn't filter that well and the spigots tend to leak. I also saw that zero water was bought out apparently.

Is zero water still worth it in 2026? Or is Brita better cost wise? I'm mostly concerned about taste but I also want to be healthy
