Howdy y’all,

I am a bourban guy and dont know a lick about tequilas so please excuse my lack of knowledge. My boss is a tequila guy (claims he likes anejos, specifically Don Julio 1942 Anejo) and is retiring tomorrow, so I wanted to get him a good tequila for a gift. He’s done a lot for me, and I was looking to spend $200-$300 on something he wouldn’t buy for himself.

The TW employee recommended the Don Roberto 1924 Limited 5 year Extra Anejo, which I purchased.

Is this going to be somthing he’ll like, or did I screw up and buy something dumb? Any information or input is appreciated.
