Final Update: The wait is over, but not with the result I hoped for (LTIMindtree CIS Rejection)
Hey everyone, just wanted to give a final update to my previous post. After waiting for exactly one month since my technical interview on April 7th, I finally received the 'Candidature Status' mail today, May 5th, at 10:17 PM.
It’s a rejection.
Honestly, I’m more hurt by the timing than the result itself. If they had to reject me, they could have done it within a week. Keeping me in limbo for 30 days created this false hope that made it so hard for me to focus on other opportunities. I was constantly checking my phone, refreshing my mail, and staying in groups just for this one update.
To those who are still waiting or in a similar boat: please don't repeat my mistake. Don't put your life on hold for one company. Treat it as a 'no' until you see an offer letter, and keep applying elsewhere.
It’s a tough pill to swallow, but I guess it’s time to move on and start the job hunt all over again from tomorrow. Good luck to everyone else who is still in the process. I hope your results are better than mine.
