Help me identifying this plant. The leaves doesn’t smell like onion.

I got this as a baby plant and didn’t expect it to grow this much. I left it unattended due to renovation work at home and came only to see it started shooting vines left, right and center.

I have no plans of buying a support or moss pole at this time, so I had this long wooden stick which I inserted into the pot and tied the vines tightly to the stick.

Wanted to know is this enough for the plant to thrive? The new leaves of the vines were smaller so I wanted to know if this will fix it.

I had low voltage in my area yesterday night and weirdly the ceiling spot light i installed started flickering and dimming. The switch was turned off the whole time. It behaved like this until the voltage fluctuation was rectified. Does anyone know what caused this?

P.S. I have installed two lights in the bedroom and both behaved the same, but the light works fine now. I don’t think there’s a faulty LED or driver.
