Withholding money
I just have a general question. Let's say you make around $894 but you also got a new job that pays you by weekly ranging from $460 to $550. For one month your paycheck went over $28 of the $2,000 limit so now you're checked went down to $671.
The letter they sent you said they were only holding $99 but if my math is correct that is more than $99 right?
I am already paying them back for when I worked back in 2024 for 4 months and only gained a total of $4,960 but to them I owed them around $12,000 that unfortunately has not been paid off yet.
Is it the survivor's benefits that I received? What is with the $2,000 limit anyway me personally as an individual I need at least $2,150 but I can't survive in this freaking economy if I'm being charged every dollar I go over the limit.
I asked for an appeal but do I have to look into a lawyer?
