Saw someone else do this recently so I figured I'd do my own tierlist ranking the important villains and antagonists in hellaverse in terms of badness.

( To be clear I'm judging the characters both on personality and also on actions )

I didn't include the dhorks or cherubs since they are not really villains or even antagonists in the sense that they are actively doing evil things so I would probably rank them even lower than the bottom row if I did include them

And let it never be said that being an alastor and lute and valentino fan makes be biased lmao I can love them and still acknowledge their faults and how evil all of the things that they do are also if anyone complains about velvet not being judged the same as valentino and vox keep in mind her only confirmed crime so far is being a drug dealer which is not on the same level as the stuff these other guys have done,

Also I would put dickmaster above lute despite her sadism since lute was born and bred for this whole thing but adam is entirely a part of it out of choice same as sera so despite what lute haters may say you can't really ignore such an important factor when judging them,

Anyway quick disclaimer for any sera fanatics about to moan about her not being placed lower than literally everyone regardless of their actual actions

Genocide = bad there hope that clears everything up lmao,

( also rosie is only so low because she hasn't really done anything on screen yet other than humiliate alastor a little but this isn't me saying that I don't think she's evil or anything like that just to be clear same with the others on the bottom row ).

She should really follow emily's example in future.

And no simply not killing people isn't a redemptive action that's just the default ( I'm not going to claim that valentino would be comitting a redeeming action if he simply didn't abuse angel lmao )

Since season 2 ended People keep saying emily is the better charlie but really she's the better sera lol since she actually helped saved countless lives in hell and prevent an uprising that at least partly nearly came around as a result of sera's actions and actually helped pentious settle into heaven

Meanwhile what did sera do this season? ( checks notes ) cried a little and felt sorry for herself and then hid in heaven doing nothing while everyone else including friggin valentino and velvete helped do stuff to save the day in the end,

What exactly is it people are praising her for again? lmao.

Why's it feel like loads of fans are always preaching this lesson to fans of every other antagonist while ignoring it themselves with their personal favourites lmao.

People always seem to go on and on all the time about how its fine to like characters who are bad people and have done bad things and that fans shouldn't feel the need to baby and defend them and make them out to be secretly more good than they actually are

When talking to fans of vox or valentino or alastor or velvet or lute or adam yet a lot of these people who make these points are literally sera defenders ( or conveniently leave sera fans out of the discussion ) who can't just admit they like a bad person and appreciate her character without babying her and downplaying her lmao,

( Its the definition of hypocrisy which seems to be a very normalised in the fandom when it comes all these countless discussions where people tell others its fine to enjoy bad characters while not being able to do the same thing with the character they like

given the countless posts and comments that complain when she's viewed as anything other than a misunderstood tragic hero and not a genocidal antagonist who so far hasn't done jack shit to actually redeem herself other than simply stopping killing people which should be seen as the bare minimum to be honest and not something that instantly wipes the slate clean,

The way a lot of the fandom treats sera just comes across as very misogynistic and classist to be honest and I really hope that similar to the valentino fans hate we had back after season 1 that the fandom learns to recognise its wrong and mostly grow past it ).

Who would you say are most babied characters in hazbin from what you've seen?

What exactly was it that made Blitzo want to adopt loona when she was already about to age out of the system anyway?
