The Blithfield Sallet, Lichfield, UK. Last used by Richard Bagot who died in Bosworth Field in 1485

Sallet is a variation of the 14th century bescinet. Only 2 in England.

Even the smaller towns were building grand town halls with massive clocks. Copying the tower at the houses of Parliament (now Elizabeth Tower).

I noticed that Henry II was the only Medieval or Saxon king that was clean shaven. Why did Henry II not shave and all the other kings did.
