This guy bought something. Didn’t pay. I also see they have duplicate items for sale with different listings?

Basically this guy bought some games for me. Hasn’t paid and has been messaging me promising saying he’s good for it. I looked at his profile. He has multiple duplicate listings. All for different price. I reported him. But I’m hoping he doesn’t pay now.

Will this guy be a problem later? Do I have any options?

Basicallythis guy bought some games from me. It’s been about two days and he hasn’t paid. I understand that I have to wait four to cancel this properly. I just wanted to reach out to him to get a feel. But now I’m starting to think that if he does pay and I ship it, this may be a bad idea. Do I have any options at all or do I have to ship it if he pays?

They want me to wait until Tuesday to ship when I can ship it out Monday.

Hey guys. Obviously this really isn’t that big of a deal at all and I’m gonna ship it out Tuesday. But what would his reasoning be for this? Of course I could ask him, but I just don’t feel like going back-and-forth on eBay. The last day that I can ship this is Tuesday the 12th which is the day he asked I would ship it out on. Instead of Monday the 11th.

I’m looking for some help here because I’m shocked by a situation that happened last night.

I have a guest suite thats located on my property. Around 11:15 PM, I realized I’d only left two towels in the bathroom instead of my usual four. Since I wanted them to have a perfect morning and didn’t want to bother them with a knock or a text that late (I assumed they were winding down because I heard family guy playing in bedroom), I decided to just handle it quickly and quietly.

I used my management key to let myself in at 11:30 PM. I didn't turn on any light because I didn't want to be rude, so I just used a small flashlight to find the towel rack. the guest came out of the bedroom and started screaming before I could even get into kitchen area. I tried to calmly explain that I was just there for "emergency restocking," but they were extremely hostile and told me to get out.

Now they’ve sent a formal message through the app demanding a 100% refund for the entire three-night stay, claiming "privacy violations" and "safety concerns."

I feel like this is a huge overreaction to a host just trying to provide 5-star service. It’s my property, and I was literally just providing amenities. I’m out here working at midnight because of my other jobs. to make sure they’re comfortable, and now they want to stay for free?

Has anyone else dealt with guests who don't understand the "hospitality" side of the business? Should I offer a small discount as a gesture of goodwill, or just let Airbnb support handle their refund request? I don't feel like I did anything wrong.

Frequent traveler here! I wanted to share that I’m a firm believer in the 'Default 5-Star' rule. Even if there are a few things wrong during my stay, I always leave a top rating. I figure as long as the host was decent and the bed was comfortable, there's no reason to hurt their business over the small stuff.

I went to an air bnb in Outerbanks over this last weekend for 4 nights. The host had like 26 5 star reviews with no negative reviews. We booked it as they were a superhost and everything looked good. After arriving it was pretty dirty. Garbage in drain of sink, bugs dead in window seals, etc..

Another very odd thing is they asked us to be quiet for the upstairs guests, but we were looking at photos of air bnb online and the guests car that’s parked beside mine is the hosts? So the host is staying up stairs and lied and said they were guests?

There is no AC, they have a dog that doesn’t shut up and keeps us awake, none of the over head ceiling fans work. Idk I’m not happy about this. Should I just go ahead and leave a bad review?
