I watched Se7en and it shook my brain a little. I thought it would be a regular movie where our hero will catch the psychopath serial killer and the movie will end with a happy ending. But it left me with so many thoughts.

I’ll go first.
Irfan Khan’s death is one of the few celebrity losses that still feels deeply personal to me. Usually, when famous people pass away, it feels sad for a moment and life moves on. But with Irfan sir, it was different. It genuinely felt like the world had lost someone rare. Even today, it’s hard to accept that a man with so much life, depth, and presence is no longer here.
I grew up watching his films, and over time I realized he wasn’t just entertaining me—he was quietly influencing me. There was something unmatched about him. He never needed loud dialogues, overacting, or larger-than-life heroism to leave an impact. His expressions, voice, and natural way of carrying emotion felt more real than most performances ever could. Whether he made me laugh, think, or feel emotional, he did it effortlessly.
What I admired most was the kind of personality he reflected. He taught me that strength doesn’t always have to be loud. That confidence can be calm. That intelligence doesn’t need attention. In many ways, he shaped parts of how I see people and even how I want to carry myself in life—grounded, authentic, and secure without needing validation.
Some of his films are tied to personal memories for me—watching them with family, revisiting scenes alone late at night, or randomly finding his interviews when I needed perspective. That’s what great artists do. They become part of your life without ever knowing you.
The day he passed, I felt genuinely shaken. It didn’t feel like we only lost a brilliant actor—it felt like we lost a truly special human being. Even now, watching his scenes brings both gratitude and sadness. Gratitude that we got to witness someone like him, and sadness that there should have been so much more.
Irfan Khan wasn’t just talented—he was timeless. Would love to hear what he meant to you too.
