Thoughts so far?

Still a long way to go and alot more to change.

so far I'm happy with the results the water feature is working. I have a false bottom to add and some plants to add to the middle step pool bit and finish the decor of it so it looks all natural.

think about 8 or so more plants to the main enclosure. wires are still horrible I want to secure and hide them all.

also I want to squeeze 2 more hides in. I can turn the flow down on the water feature which I think i will and going to add a speaker so when its plugged in it also plays African nature sounds that's nature to ball pythons habitat water feature and sounds are more aesthetics for me and people looking in

currently have 2 x 30w RHP with fans but not getting temps so will replace soon with a single 150w or maybe 200w. humidity is great in there and more plants i think will help even more.

Still deciding what ball to get I want a male as the tank is 4x2x2. I will one day upgrade this to a 6x3x3

any questions or thoughts welcome

Hide accessibility?

So I'm making a bioactive enclosure for a future ball. I'm trying to make it as cluttered and grown in with plants as possible and have hides that I've made/modified.

I've started to realise some are going to be an issue to remove or gain full access too once it all grows in without damaging future plants. I'm not planning on getting a snake for a good few months minimum so until then should I constantly start try removing these hides and putting them back so I don't let hides get grown in or do I just wait till I get the snake and a week before do a mass pruning?

Heating issue

ive set up a bioactive enclosure for a ball (future going to wait about 5 months for it to grow in before getting a noodle for it)

its a wooden viv 4x2x2 expanding foam sides and background so id assume that would help with keeping heat in.

I have 2 reptizoo heat panels with fan 30w both on the same thermostat. im struggling with getting the temps and staying there. humidity isn't an issue and i keep moving the 2 hygrometer probes around and there fine.

I have managed to hit the right temps a couple of times but thats with the thermostat probe near the heat source cool side is alot lower.

ive bought some extra fans i was thinking of putting on the cool side vent to pull the air from inside the tank and help pull across but yet to install yet.

any ideas? ive spent £70 on the 2 radiant heat panels but willing to upgrade to something better if that will work. I dont have a snake atm and want to add more plants and let these grow in and take over before I do

also anyone thats seen my removable water feature its finaly all fixed and working well but havnt had it running in the enclosure yet so the fan idea was more to pull humidity out as having that will probably increase it
