Dating in Malawi...

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately and wanted to hear other people’s experiences.
My life is pretty simple: church, school, home. I’m not really the outgoing or party type, and I’ve never seriously dated anyone before. It’s not that I don’t want a relationship I do but sometimes I genuinely wonder how people meet genuine partners, especially here in Malawi.
It sometimes feels like everyone else already figured it out while I’m still trying to understand how to even let someone into my life. And when you do meet someone, how do you even know they’re worth that space?
So I’m curious to hear from people with more experience:
Where did you meet your partner?
How did you know they were worth pursuing something serious with?
And if you’re someone who isn’t very outgoing, how did you navigate dating?
Sometimes the waiting feels long, but maybe I’m just overthinking it.
Would really appreciate hearing different perspectives. 😉
