recommendations on where to stay in italy - small quiet village?

My partner and I (20 years old) are heading to Europe in June/July. Due to plans changing, we now have 4 nights free in Italy. We are landing in Rome (2 nights), then we have the free 4 nights. Afterwards, we are heading to Florence (3 nights), which was going to include a day trip to Siena and San Gimignano, Cinque Terre (3 nights) before moving onto Switzerland. It is my partners 21st birthday during these free dates so would be great to be in a nice spot!

For reference the remainder of our trip includes:

- Interlaken (4), Amsterdam (4), Paris (3), Nice (4) and then Prague (4).

So, my question is where should we spend those 4 nights?? I was thinking instead of the day trip to Siena, we could just stay there instead? Or, a quiet Italian town would be perfect.

Also open to switching the other places around if there is somewhere else highly recommended.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
