Tried to restring the trimmer, but 2 problems:

I’m supposed to be able to twist the knob to wind the line, but it is very difficult to wind.
When ready to go, the line won’t advance when bumped.

Went to Lowe’s to ask for help, but a clerk said Kovalt was bought by Ez-Go and cust service may now be non-existent.

Any thoughts? Help?
