Fedora 44 COSMIC spin
Hello,
How COSMIC DE is performing in Fedora 44? I've made a switch from Debian 13 to Fedora 44 Workstation two weeks ago and it's very fine with extensions, Arcmenu, Dash to panel and App Indicator. I've tried COSMIC spin year ago and it wasn't yet ready.
What is the status of COSMIC and is someone daily running it? Have you switched from KDE or GNOME? Any notable bugs to be aware about? What about multiple monitors, thunderbolt dock?
My concerns are related to GNOME and extensions to make it KDE Plasma / Windows-like. When GNOME releases a new version, extensions must be updated as well by their authors. When that happens, it will break extensions.
I want to achieve the most out-of-box experience which means I don't have to configure the desktop environment for every system I use - if I had to reinstall, I could import the configuration from file. I believe COSMIC has these things covered.
