Booking updated my confidentiality code for no reasons ??
Hi everyone,
I just received an email from Booking informing me that my confidentiality code has been changed.
The email says: “For security reasons, we have updated the confidential code in your booking confirmation details.” It then includes all the details of my accommodation, dates, and booking information.
I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone here before? Is this a standard email from them or could it be suspicious?
In my case, after checking, the new code mentioned in the email matches the one I currently see on the website, so everything seems to be fine.
The email comes from noreply@booking.com, which is normally the address used for all Booking reservation-related emails.
