Tax Filing for year 2025 - IRA Contribution Question
Myself and Spouse make $260K per year. I have ~96K in traditional IRA and ~20K in Roth IRA. I have contributed $1000 post tax money to traditional IRA in the year 2025 and converted it to Roth IRA during Feb, 2026. Will there be any penalty or any additional tax on my current total traditional IRA contributions. My assumptions is that it is just a back door and $1000 is a post-tax money so there won't be any additional charges. Also I haven't received any tax form as I have converted this to Roth IRA only in 2026. What form needs to be amended during tax filing. I am planning to file online and not planning for a tax consultant. Appreciate your inputs / suggestions.
