





AirAsia changed my direct flight to Fly-thru (with stop) and now no other direct flights options available on the same dates?
Hi all, I need some advice/ guidance here.
I booked a direct flight from Singapore to Bangkok about 3 weeks ago through Agoda app. Everything was confirmed as a non-stop flight fo both outbound and return (as you can see in the 1st pic).
Yesterday, Agoda sent me an email indicating airline has rescheduled my flights so I went to check the timing via that same email and it's still indicating direct flights back and forth.
I went and checked in Airasia Move app just to double check the flight timing and there it is; showing KL as a Fly-thru stop in between which made my flight time to 5hr+ in total.
I went to chat with Airasia's chatBo and the Ai is quite unhelpful repeating the same things over and over again.
So I contacted Agoda, and they told me:
So now, I'm stuck with either taking a longer flight which I didn't originally agree to or take a refund (don't know when nor the amount) and rebook at a much higher price (~350S$ more).
I also asked about me just taking the longer flight and get a partial refund or goodwill support (like checked-luggage add on since I've been planning to buy) but Agoda said compensation has to be handled by the airline directly.
And honestly, there is no way to contact AirAsia except from their Ai chat Bo.
It feels unfair and even tho the change wasn't from my end, I'm the one taking the hit.
Has anyone dealt with something similar? Is this a common occurrence which I didn't know about? And what do I do now? 😓
