why do so many people end up reviving Chucky?

I mean in the second movie it’s can be somewhat understandable since it was a desperate attempt for Good Guys to save their reputation but it’s just feels weird why they would use the remains of a burnt doll or didn't bother to question where it came from and why was it burnt then in the third movie I guess you can say it was accidentally but still you would think someone would notice the red liquid oozing out of a mangled doll.

as for Bride and Seed I guess it not surprising since Tiffany was the one trying to revive him on purpose and GG being unaware that their parents were twisted, bloodthirsty serial killers it's honestly no wonder why Andy kept Chucky's head after Curse at that point he knows that there will always be someone who will end up reviving him again intentionally or not.

would Hoffman have become a serial killer even if John didn't convince him to become a Jigsaw apprentice?

I mean like it didn't seem like he had any intention in becoming one and was content with just getting revenge for his sister but throughout the series Hoffman has shown that he's got a cruel, sadistic and malicious streak a mile wide and a fondness for human suffering so I can't really see him being okay with going back as law abiding officer after managing to get away with a copycat murder chances are that he would have tempted into committing another copycat killing only next time it would be for his personal pleasure.
