Today marks two years since I had my gastric sleeve done. After a lifetime of yo-yo dieting and enormous weight fluctuations, I decided at age 41 to do it. The process hasn’t been easy, and yet, all I feel is gratitude. I am one pound under my goal weight, as of today.( yes I have to lock in and track my food or I will gain weight.) It is the first time since surgery that I feel in control of myself. I no longer fear becoming obese. I now have know I hold the key to permanent success.
