Hello all, first time on this thread. Recently acquired this old square body and plan on keeping it a while. Auto transmission. Asking for some thoughts please...planning to upgrade in phases.
Phase 1: get it running reliably. It does now, but is sluggish. Thought about replacing plugs, wires, air/fuel filter as a start. What else?
Phase 2: slowly upgrade performance. Initial thoughts are to start with intake/carb, headers/exhaust, and ignition. Would rather not get into the heads/block because at that point, I'd probably just do an LS swap, turbo or supercharger, trans/rear diff upgrade, etc.
