I have been banned by Hinge twice and both appeals were sucessful.
I can't say what you guys are doing to get banned, and really I can't say why I was banned. Both said terms for bullying. I will admit I can be abrasive, but I am never hateful. I am matter of fact. If someone says to leave them alone I leave them alone. I have said many sexual things, but only with explicit consent. Both times my appeal was the truth and amounted to, "I didn't intend to offend anyone, but if I did I am sorry. I am honest and trying to find a meaningful relationship." Nothing long winded. No long response. No anger or excuses. No accusations.
One ban was at the end of March one was at the end of April.
I have used Hinge on and off for years. I have never been banned before. I suspect its because I moved to a different state where the culture is different and there are perhaps misunderstandings.
I will note my first ban said it was based on "reports by users", and my second ban simply said "based on review by moderators".
I also wasn't shadow banned. Both times I resumed receiving matched regularly.
