Why do clients wait until the last minute to ask for event management help?

I freelance in marketing and keep getting clients who suddenly want help planning events with very unrealistic timelines.

They usually already sold tickets or announced dates before figuring out registration, attendee communication, or logistics.

How do you push back on these timelines?

Customer onboarding automation for b2b wholesale

We just opened wholesale on Shopify and new retailers need net terms approval, tax exempt forms, product catalogs, and ordering instructions. I’m emailing each one manually and it takes days.

I need a wholesale application that, on approval, sends the catalog, tax form request, net terms info, and a how-to-order guide. If they don’t submit the tax form in 5 days, nudge them. Once complete, tag them in shopify and notify sales. I want it to feel high-touch without me chasing docs.

Using ai seo services to find undiscovered competitors?

We are in a very fast-moving niche (AI dev tools), and new competitors are popping up every week. I’m looking for ai seo services that can monitor the SERPs in real-time and alert us when a new domain starts ranking for our core keywords.

I want to be able to analyze their content strategy automatically and find gaps that we can exploit. My challenge is that traditional tools are too slow to update. Does anyone use an AI-powered seo service to stay ahead of the curve?

We had a close call last month when a subcontractor on our job site began trenching, but when I stepped in to verify the 811 ticket, nobody was entirely sure if it was still active. While we avoided any actual damage, the lack of certainty felt incredibly risky. It made me wonder about the standard operating procedure for other teams. Do your crews have a hard rule about double-checking the ticket validity immediately before the bucket hits the dirt, or is it usually just assumed that "someone" handled it? I'm curious how other managers ensure this doesn't turn into a "negligent" habit on-site.
