What now??? Is that the veil that broke?Do I just harvest those and leave the rest?

the second cup really seems to have a lot with the veil down!

First time harvesting, what can I do now? I don’t have a dehydrator , also, can i just lay them on aluminum foil?

Pinning! I had to do the dubtub, cause they were breaching the original lid!

Both cups are 1:1 but I believe the one that looks “healthier?” was also 1:1 but more volume overall; that cup was always heavier from the start. So maybe that one there’s more substrate to fuel them?

I’m noticing a few things, obviously one cup looks skinnier and taller. And I also noticed inside the cup a few pins decided to “go to sleep.” In addition, the skinny ones seem to have more fuzz at the base, And lastly, I noticed the substrate shrinking inwards away from the cup, so I took some advice from mycostipes, here in the forum, and added some spoons of water on the sides, hope that helps them!

Any thoughts or ideas, please do tell!

These are breaching the lid!

What do I supposed to do now? Sincerely, please instruct! I have two of these containers growing simultaneously.

How are my pins? Anything specific that you could say may need tending too?

Looking at these pins, in these two yogurt cups, I judge them by pics I have seen, and I have seen many pics!

But is there anything about them that stand out that would be telling of how I should be treating them? How they would like to be treated?

more mist, less mist, more/less FAE, more humidity, less humidity, etc. I have been misting them slightly, and fanning them, should I stop?

[gourmet] Trying to grow pearl oysters outside in the shade in Southern California

I used a space in the backyard that I noticed other garden type mushrooms keep appearing. I didnt realize until recently, that the sprinklers in the backyward are throwing water in that shaded corner. So I said what the heck, let me throw some 1st flushed aio bag of spawn and cover it with some leftover coir and vermiculite.

one looks, the third pic, looks like it might not make it, it looks discolored? Is that from drying up? Or maybe too much water? while another is growing fine. Any suggestions? To get some good mushrooms back there. Should I be misting additional to the sprinkler?

I inoculated these AIO bags Jan 26th, and it’s now May 4th, (May the fourth be with you).

Ive followed all the instructions provided by the company via email and Im puzzled. I have posted pics, you can see the small pins growing off the actual plastic!
