Albums that sound nothing like the artist

We’re spinning Beck’s Sea Change in the office and I’m still shocked this came from the same guy behind his hip‑hop/alt stuff.

What are your favorite albums that were a total genre change from the artist’s usual sound?

Looking for a solid, practical user persona template

I’m looking for a practical, real-world template for user personas that UXRs actually use on the job (not the over-designed Dribbble-style ones).

What I’m hoping to find:

  • A structure that focuses on behavior, needs and context
  • Enough detail to be useful for product/UX decisions
  • Examples from real projects (even redacted) would be amazing

If you have:

  • A template you like
  • A Notion/Figma/Miro file you can screenshot
  • Or a link to a good resource / article

Thanks in advance!

Obsidian users: what does it do for you?

People around me swear by Obsidian and I’m honestly not sure I get it. I’m using Claude Code a lot, and I’m trying to understand how do you actually use Obsidian together with Claude? tnx in advance!

We send personalized emails to end-customers based on behavioral signals: their name, what they did, what they said in chat and any other data signal we can get.
Now we're exploring whether to add personalized video, where the recommendation covers both who should receive one and what to say in it, based on the same data signals.

Has anyone run this? Specifically curious about:

  • Did it actually improve clicks or conversions?
  • Where did it work best?
  • Did the production overhead justify the lift?
  • Overall recipient's feedback, or in other words was it a "what a cool message!" or "WTF??"

Thanks in advance!

I’m sitting in a hospital waiting room while a close relative is in surgery and I’m trying to keep my spirits up with music. It'll take while...

Started the day with Lean on Me by Bill Withers.

An analysis job is triggered automatically. It runs in the background, completes in a few minutes.

Do you send:

  • Email 1: "Analysis started" + Email 2: "Results ready"
  • Or just the "Results ready" email?

Two feels noisy but most of the team think it's better to send Two.

Thanks in advance.

I am working with my customers and trying to help them design their videos. Feels like NOBODY is watching learning videos anymore, event if the analytics showing different. People not really watching (customers share feedback and it's obvious that no matter how "good" is the video, it's hard to get people to actually watch and learn).
Personally I believe that passive videos are no longer working as a learning format and I encourage them to create a hybrid course including live events, but not all of them are ready to go live...

so, for those of you selling or taking courses in 2026, what video duration works best for meaningful engagement and learning?

Thanks in advance for your insights!

I’m testing more personalized subject lines lately (name, company, behavior-based all the way to words mentioned in an email) and would love to see some real numbers if you can share. Any impacts of open and click rates? revenue changes?

Any advice will help. Thanks!
