I just flew 3 hours in an extra leg room seat cramped against the window to try to avoid being squished against the guy in the seat next to me. He was spilling half way into each seat next to him (middle seat). How is this fair? Why don't airlines protect people from this happening? He was clearly uncomfortable too.
