Do you think you can solve what’s wrong with this motorcycle based on this description

Hey guys, i've got a 2017 Beta 350 Race edition that i've had the pleasure of owning 7 years now. Nearly 9,000 miles and 400 hours of incredible memories and experiences riding Moab, Idaho, Tennessee, West Virginia, Michigan ice, enduro and countless out of state dual sport trips.

It has developed a hanging high idle issue after rolling off the throttle when in gear the past few years that begins to occur after riding for ~30 or so minutes. Makes it really difficult to ride technical single track when you lose your engine braking ability... Never happens when the motors cold. I'm on my 3rd throttle body, first 2 had the butterfly valve wear into the housing and created a gap for excess air to pass through even when fully closed.

I've checked intake boots for leaks, etc.. without any potential root cause identified. I'd like to keep the bike as a backup dual sport but need to get this issue sorted, have not had any luck to date. Trying to avoid throwing parts at it, any ideas/suggestions would be welcome. Makes it really difficult to ride technical single track when you lose your engine braking ability... Never happens when the motors cold.
