From unemployed Devs, to a successful startup

I am just wondering, we have a lot of unemployed Devs in this community, trying to find any gig to get some income. With all that knowledge, you mean they can't come together, brainstorm and start a successful startup? Or is it just random beginner programmers calling themselves techies? I believe just 10 serious devs can build something very powerful that can scale up and be profitable within a short period of time.

The likelihood of a random millennial being depressed is 80%. The society brought them up that way. Stop blaming them. They deserve nothing but hugs.

What to do with professional emails?

Since I managed a couple of sites some years back, I used to sell professional emails to this guy for very good rates. Around 2k per email so long as he domain has been active for more than 2 years.

I have been wondering what he was doing with them. Tried to ask him but he refused to ungatekeep. Is there anyone here who might have a clue or know what he was doing with the emails? because it seemed he made some good money from them. I would make some good money from him, then he goes silent and only here from him after a month or so.

First time in Nairobi life hack

I remember when I joined campus, it was my first time in Nairobi. It was really difficult to navigate the city. My sister told me if I ever get lost, I should stop, look at the direction majority of people are heading to, and follow that route, you'll mostly likely find a bus stop. If not ask a police officer for direction.

It worked until I knew every corner of that city. What's your life hack of maneuvering in NBO?

Mombasa (coastal) men are weak prejudice.

This prejudice of Nairobi women claiming men from the coastal region mostly Mombasa, are weak needs to stop. Why do you think this notion keeps popping up all the time? One reason was that they cry so easily all the time. Is this true?

I have this strong urge to do an experiment on myself, to get stung by 1 million African Killer Bees. I have been thinking about this for quite some time now. Am I crazy or should I go ahead with it and see what happens? Of course I will not get stung by one million bees in a day, but do a count of stings every time I get stung. For example, if today I get 200 bee stings, I note that down and continue the count next time I position myself for more stings. Kindly advice, and refer me to anyone who has done or is doing the same thing.

Hello everyone. I am a beekeeper and an app developer. Over the last two years, I have lost over 90 bee colonies. Most of the colonies I lost, were mostly young colonies, no more than 6 months old. More than 90% of the beehive that the colonies absconded were infested with wax moths. I have tried to deal with them but it seems the only way I can somehow stop the wax moths from getting into my hives, is by completely seeling the hive and leaving only a small entrance. I am just curious, how about you as a beekeeper, do you face the same challenge with wax moths and how do you deal with them?
