my son turned 10 i got him a guinea pig like he wanted since he was 6 this thing was in a livestock bin with 7 others at the local farm feed store for some reason now its eating its plastic cage and food bowl aswell as its own poop it has wood to chew on plenty of hay plenty of kibble and veggies should i havent had a guinea pig since i was his age and mine never did that should i get a 50 gallon tank

I bought my son a guinea pig for his birthday at the pet store they took it out if a pen with 8 other guinea pigs i think one of the other ones was sick because now it wont eat anything other than its own poop it throws up and it doesnt do anything but scream all day
