I don’t know if it’s just me, but watching the first two games the d-pairings have been sub par for the most part. The one I’ve noticed the most being particularly poor is the Girard-Letang pairing. They constantly both get caught up in the offensive zone when the play is in transition. I think Muse should definitely shake that pairing up at least and try to pair each with a more defensive defender that will actually allow each to play more offensively without getting caught but I’m not sure what that should look like.
