The first second of audio gets cut off in Windows 11 after a short of silence on Maxwell (PS5 version) in dongle mode.
Lately, I've been having an issue with my Maxwell (PS5 version) headset. In dongle mode on Windows 11, the first second of every sound (whether it's a YouTube video or a Windows sound test) gets cut off if no audio has been sent to the headset via the dongle for a short while.
The drivers for the headset are up to date, and I installed them directly from the Audeze zip file named Dolby_Maxwell Head Tracking_Win_11_29_23. To my knowledge, there haven't been any updates for the headset since then.
I've attached my settings for Audeze HQ and Dolby Access to this post, in case I've set something up incorrectly there. I've also attached an MP3 file demonstrating the sound problem. When I use SoundKeeper, the problem doesn't occur, as you can see in the video.
My guess is that Windows is putting the USB-C port on my motherboard into sleep mode when it doesn't receive a continuous signal. I've already gone into the Windows Device Manager and unchecked the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power." I also tried plugging the dongle into a different port (even using a USB-C to USB-A adapter in every single USB-A port).
Disabling Dolby Atmos and audio enhancements didn't fix the problem either. Because of this, I'm slowly running out of ideas on what else I could do to fix it.
Do you guys have any other ideas on how I can get rid of this issue?
