Just a random story I remembered from about a year ago. I took my boys swimming (we usually go every couple of weeks) and everything was normal as always. But this one time, I got confronted because I was comfortable with my boys not wearing clothes in the shower area.

An older woman, probably 60s came up to me and called me a ‘bad parent’ right infront of my kids.

I remember I just laughed, in fact I actually laughed right at her. What does she know about us or what works for our family? They’re young kids, there’s nothing strange about it. If anything, I thought her reaction said more about her than it did about me. Maybe I’m crazy but is that not exactly what a shower is for, I have thankfully never seen her since although I wish I actually had done just because I’d love to ask her what is best, as she’s obviously the role model 🥱

Curious if anyone else has had similar experiences? maybe even with family members saying that the lifestyle isn’t for kids ect. I know people can be uptight about nudism.

Hello, family of 4 here! Me, my wife & 2 kiddos. It’s refreshing to see communities like this one still going strong, especially when so much of the broader internet has cracked down on anything related to non-sexual nudity.

Hoping to contribute to this subreddit more often now that I’ve stumbled upon it, it’s nice to find likeminded people and other families also in the nudism space as sometimes we can be made to feel like we’re raising our kids the wrong way
