The suede part of this bag has definitely seen better days. In some areas it is a bit worn, and overall it looks quite blotchy. I also feel like the colour no longer matches the smooth leather, as it has faded slightly. Would it be safe to refresh the suede using a suitable colour spray (in the shade Tobacco Tan)?

How do I remove verdigris (green corrosion) from leather? I’ve already tried using saddle soap and then baking soda afterward. It has improved a bit, but the stains are still very clearly visible.
