Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone who grew up reading books like horrible science and stuff like that remember a series of books with really dumb funny stories in it. It was about the life of a teenage boy and I specifically remember a story about how he was at war with a garden gnome. The book would have little doodles in the border that were funny and lowkey cartoon gory like people getting squished by big hammers. The numbers on the bottom of the page was also usually a snail? I’d really like to find these books cause I want to show my partner the kind of literature I consumed as a kid. Any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to this german restaurant in brisbane. I used to go for birthdays as a kid but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. They were somewhere in the CBD and had beer glasses hanging from the ceiling and little fake windows of the country side. The food was phenomenal and i miss it so much.
