I intervened in a domestic violence situation and it ended with me walking away, saying I hope he beats your a**

So I grew up in the suburbs, most of my life and recently have proved to the inner city and and like the happy year I’ve been here there’s probably a domestic once or twice a month in the apartment building. I left today to go let someone in to the building in a large man was fighting with his girlfriend or wife who is not only significantly smaller, but about 2.5 feet shorter then Him. They were parked in the middle of the street with both their cars black in the road and she pushed him so he grabbed her shoulders and threw her against the car and I sat from a distance.” Hey guys probably not a good idea to be doing that out here.” More referring to the male like dude like this. Don’t look good like if a cop drives by you you’re going in no matter what. Or a video of it gets out. But anyways, he instantly let go of her and like doesn’t say anything, and then she turns to me and starts yelling, saying she can defend herself and I politely start trying to tell her im sure he was ready to beat her ass (guy is driving away at this point) and she keeps yelling mind your own business. Finally I got made and I told her you know what your right I should have let him beat your ass I definitely can see why he’d want to

Am I in the wrong for interfering

Suspended since April Company is preventing me from qualifying for SNAP food assistance

For a little insight on what’s going on I was suspended the third week of April without pay and was originally told that I was not allowed to use any of my paid time off. I then applied for State snap Assistance to help pay for food and after filling out the application and doing my interview, I had to submit some documentation, including bank statements, proof of rent AND a official notice from Petco that I am suspended without pay. When attempting to receive that, I was told that the text messages should do. I then called the caseworker back and he informed me that it would need to be a signed letter or an equivalent method. I reached out to corporate HR and they sent me an email informing me that they cannot provide any official documentation about my suspension. All they can say or all they’re willing to say in an email is that I am not scheduled any hours pending my background check. Unfortunately, for the county that I live in this is not considered significant verification so my food stamp benefits have been denied until I can prove that I am suspended without pay, even though I have gone a pay cycle without a check.
No one in Petco seems to wanna give me a simple signed sheet of paper that says I am suspended without pay and it is literally affecting my ability to buy food at this point. I don’t wanna make this a PR nightmare, but something needs to be done
