Forgive me for such a pedestrian question, but I know zero about Swans after Greed / Holy Money, which is where I stopped listening back in 1986, when I discovered grindcore and went down that rabbit hole for years. What is the name of the song that has a guy talking to someone (but we never hear the other person’s responses), asking a whole litany of questions, such as “You know why you’re ________? Bc __________ & ________.” Something about a shower, cooking breakfast, etc.

Born in Los Banos, grew up in Stevinson / Hilmar, left as a teenager, back 40 years later. What’s the word on Keyes? It seems like a nice enough little town, but I’ve also heard ppl say it’s a meth-infested backwater shithole. Thoughts?

Hi, all. I moved to the Modesto area two weeks ago from Sacramento, which has gotten to be entirely too expensive, and IMO is now a giant shithole. Anyway, I’m transferring to the Tracy post office for work, and know nothing about it, but it was the only office in the area that had an opening, saving me from commuting from Modesto to Auburn every day, nearly 2 hours each way. In your opinion(s), is it a decent place? Customer service good? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

So the other day I was turning right onto a side street, and there was major glare from the sun, and at the last minute, I slammed on my brakes to avoid hitting another driver head on. Out front license plates touched, but that was it. No damage at all to either car, not even a bent license plate. We exchanged information and went on with our day.

Just a few minutes ago, I got a message from my insurance company, saying that a claim had been lodged against my policy, but I’m not sure how bc there was seriously zero damage to my car, zero damage to his car. How is this possible, and what can I expect to happen? An adjuster is calling me tomorrow.
