Morfa Dyffryn this morning.

No one but NUDE me on the WHOLE beach from level with the boardwalk right up to the breakers near Shell Island. I had the whole beach to myself.

Passed two people on the way back and one dog walker passed me when I was sat near the bottom board.

One hour and 20 minute hike and just three people.

The down side was that it was cloudy and chilly, but I did do it.

Hope to get back again this week as the weather looks much warmer Thursday and Friday.

I used to think naked hiking was mainly about courage.
Now I think it’s mostly about presence.

When you remove the fabric barrier, the whole walk changes: wind, temperature, terrain, and movement become much more immediate. It feels less like “watching nature” and more like being inside it.

For people who are curious but unsure, I’ve found this works best:

  • start with a short route
  • pick a low-traffic place
  • check local rules before going
  • bring a quick cover option
  • focus on sensation, not performance

What do you think is the hardest part for beginners: body confidence, logistics, or fear of being judged?
